defmacro.org just posted a wonderful tutorial called The Nature of Lisp. If you have ever wondered what puts that creepy evangelical light in the back of a lispers eye read this and you too will be enlightened. I only wish I had found this back when I started playing with lisp, it would have been a short cut through a lot of tears and pain.
